Christopher and Monica both grew up in Torrey Highlands and attended Adobe Bluffs Elementary and Black Mountain Middle School. Christopher later attended Westview High School and played varsity roller hockey for 4 years. He went on to CSU San Marcos to pursue a degree in Global Business Management with an emphasis in marketing. Monica ran cross country, ran distance in track and field, and played violin in the orchestra at Del Norte. She went on to pursue a degree in Statistics at UC Davis. The two elementary sweethearts reconnected 3 years after college and bought their first primary residence where they grew up as an engaged couple because they love the area so much.
